Nestled among tall green pines, we overlook forested ridges and the beautiful blue waters of Lake Michigan. A vacation destination, our area is just minutes from beaches, lakes, rivers and towering sand dunes within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We’re a pleasant 30-minute drive past orchards, cornfields and forests west of Traverse City. The city is best known for its annual Cherry Festival in July and International Film Festival in August. Several award-winning ski resorts offer downhill and cross-country skiing from Thanksgiving weekend to March. All seasons offer great outdoor activities.
